Anything Goes- Monday Greetings

Brrr.....Still rather cold here, especially in the mornings! At least we get rain now instead of snow!!

I have two cards to share today for our THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES- MONDAY GREETINGS!! Our theme for this week is ANYTHING GOES.  Our wonderful sponsors for this week are: Angies Cards and Digis and Creative Bugs Digi's.

My first card is "Two Monkey's Jumping on the Bed!". I chose this one because of my little grand daughter "Lilly". She LOVES this song! And we sing it many times in a day.

This card was easy peasy because I just used "Gina Marie Designs"--Stitched Rectangles in red, brown and white. The coloring was done with Copics. Sponser: Angies Cards.

My second card is a "Swan". I chose her because I think she is so darn cute!
I chose a blue base to start with on this card and I just outlined her in a grey from Copics , I  just lightly colored her beak in an orange and colored the water in a blue.   Then I fussy cut her out and placed her inside the white "Tiffany Frame" from "Memory Box". I placed a jewel in the bows around the frame. Sponser: Creative Bug.

Thank You for stopping by and HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!

Happy Father's Day

Today I'd like to share with you the card I made using the image "Out to Lunch" from a dear friend of mine, Christina Hor. She is the most wonderful person. She also makes cards for the people who have lost a child at the hospital. Please stop by her blog and take a look around at her wonderful images.

I used the color Crumb (all paper from Stampin Up) for the base of the card. I cut out the die Valiant Honor from Spellbinders in a Close to cocoa. Then the top layer in Very Vanilla with Gina Marie Design Stitched Rectangles. I colored the Image and wrote "Happy Father's Day", Soda Pop and F for Fries, then fussy cut them out.  I used a little chalk for shading on the bottom and put pop dots for the 3-D effect.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope the rest of your week is wonderful

Monday's Greeting Challenge- Furry and Funny

Guess what time it is!!! That's right! It's MONDAY'S GREETINGS over at THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES !!  Our theme for this Monday is: Furry and Funny.

Today I have two cards that I did for the challenges. First I did a kitty from QKR Stampede.

The base of my card is blue, I die cut a rectangle from Spellbinders Nestabilities Decortive Labels 8 in a sparkly blue that I found in my stacks of paper. Then in white I cut an oval from Spellbinder Nestabilities Florl Oval. I printed out the kitty from my computer and colored it with Copics and put a sentiment from my computer that says: What a purrfect day for a purrfect Mother. To finish off my card I used some little clear jewels.

For my second one I chose from Dr. Digi's. My image is a turkey holding a gun at a pilgrim.

I used white for the base of this card and in orange and yellow I used the dies from Gina Marie Designs- Stitched rectangles. Then I used Stampin Up's Framelits- Labels collection (125598) in orange. When I finished coloring my images, I fussy cut them out, colored in a background of green and blue chalk from Stampin Up, then cut is out using the Labels Collection again and pop dotted them and put on the background. I added a tree from Impression Obsession called- DIE006-V. And last I used the computer for the saying: Who's the Turkey now?
Thank You for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

My young Ballerina

What a beautiful day today!!!! Boy, we deserve it too! Oh the sun is so warm!!

I needed to make a card for one of my grand daughter's. She is in tap and ballet. Her review is next month. I have never missed a one and she has been in them since 3 or 4 and is 11 now!!

I started out with a white base. The patterned paper I have had for many years so don't remember where I got it. I printed the ballerina out and colored her. I got her from: Coloring Pages. Then cut her out using Spellbinders oval.  I die cut the "the Tiffany Frame" from Memory Box, and put the "Filigree Corner Die" from La-La Land Crafts dies http://www.lalalandcrafts.com/ and finally I put the little jewels on from "My Moments".
Thank You for Stopping by and hope you have a wonderful weekend.

My Super Hero

Our snow is just about all gone, AGAIN! Dare I even say Spring is finely here?

Today I have to make my Little Super Hero a birthday card. He is one of my nephews and he is the sweetest ever!

I started with white for the base of my card. Then I used "Gina Marie" Stitched Rectangles in Red, Sparkly Blue and White. This very cute boy is a digi from Crafty Sentiments Designs  and is called "Henry Why Not".  I colored him, fussy cut him out and used pop dots to attach him to the stitched white. I traced the balloons out from and old stencil I've had for years. I wrapped string around the balloon and to his hand. The balloons are Red and Sparkly Blue. I placed a spider on his shirt from a file I have from Little Scraps Of Heaven, The file is called "My Super Hero Vol. 2"                       THE INSIDE has the waffle paper cupcake. It's from Inky Antics-Honey Pop Collection.
Thank You for Stopping by and I hope you have a Great Day!

Show Some Sky

Well we still have snow on the ground AND it has been very cold but that's what you get when you live in our area-I believe, it is where the saying goes: If you don't like the weather, look out a different window. It was a nice warm Spring and now it is snowy and cold!!

Welcome back to the The Outlawz Challenges, Monday Greetings! Today I have a pop up card to show you.
Our sponser is: Kitty Bee Designs. I chose Panda Kite Fun and Trike Panda images and our theme is: Show some sky.

To start out I used the Sizzix Pop Up 3-D Card A2. I didn't use the w/ circle part.  I put blue on the top part for sky and green on the bottom part for the grass. I used Sun from QuicKutz, Cloud 2 from Sweet n Sassy, Impression Obsession's DIE154-A (birds) and Memory Box Arboscello Tree all on the top blue part. I added the Impression Obsession DIE004-J Fence and Sweet n Sassy Grass. I made the flowers from Elizabeth Dies-728- Bunch of Flowers, Penny Black's Deco frame and the Miss You that came with it  and of course the little Panda's.

Thank You for Stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful week!

Spring has Sprung??

Well here it is April 4th. We had a mild winter so you would think Spring would be great too......NOT!!! We just got 5 inches yesterday!!! Where the heck did Spring go??? Well let's look on the brighter side........

Welcome to Monday's Greetings at the THE OUTLAW'S CHALLENGES!!  Our theme this week is "NO CORNERS" and the sponser this week is: Digi Stamps 4 Joy and I chose "Spring has Sprung" to make my card and here is what I used to make it:  My base card is the A2 with the corners rounded. Then I took the largest die from the Impression Obsession DIE242-YY in white and I cut the corners off. Then I took 2 of the Framelits-Labels Collection 125598, from Stampin Up, the largest one (purple) and the next one down in green. I made squiggles around the purple one in white. I colored my image on white using my copics and cut it out using the die from Spellbinders Nestabilities- Classic Ovals Large. and last I put the skittles where a corner would be on both the base and just past  DIE242-YY. All my paper comes from Stampin Up. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!
