Merry Christmas! A little late, I know. We had little snow for Christmas but day before yesterday we got 6 1/2 inches! I have not been able to make cards as I am watching my grandchildren a lot. Believe me, I'm not complaining. This is one grandma that plays right on the floor with them! I cased a card that is by "Pam" on Pamscrafts. http://pam-simcrafts.blogspot.com/2017/11/vintage-winter-scene.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed:+Pamscrafts+(pamscrafts) I did make a square one but I forgot to take a picture of it. So, you get to see the 4.25x5.50. I hope you can see all the glitter, even the snowflakes!! I just love it.

Thanksgiving
Good Morning to All. We got snow!! We weren't suppose to get but a dusting but we got about 4-5 inches! Booo!!! I do like the snow with the grand kids though, time to get the sleds out! And last year my Lilly Bug made the best snow man ever! (with her mom...sshh )
On this card today is one of Martha Stewarts "Punch Around" punches in white. The digi I'm sure is Make it Crafty but I'm not positive on that. If anyone knows, please let me know ok? I cut her out with Stampin Up Circles and the hunter green scalloped circle is also from the same package. I also colored her with copic inks. The Square ( in an orange) is from Spellbinders and is called "Fleur De lis. The yellow flower behind her is also from Stampin Up and is called "Floral Frames". I placed her on a Hunter Green 5x5 cardstock.

Happy Harvest
I started out with a square base and put the Spellbinders Lovin Diamonds in a chocolate. I tucked some leaves from a punch from Marvy and two circle doilies from Stampin Up. I made the large flower a long time ago and used my cutting machine to make tear drops. I added one tear drop at a time to make this flower!! I was ahead of my time when it came to flowers. I made a ton of different flowers to sell and no one bought them. Too large. Now I see them all over. Ha! The little flower is hand made also with a tiny pearl in the middle. I had some lace in my stash to add to the card and with a label maker, I put Happy Harvest.

Moana Birthday
I made this card for my "little bug" Lilly. It was her 4th birthday. I am her Meme. This child loves me so much that she wanted to leave her birthday party and come home with me to sleep over! She sleeps over all the time! What am I doing right that this child wants me like that!

Fire!!!
Good day to all!!
It's been hard to find the time for making cards these past months. Between watching my grand kids and our Barn burning down, I've been busy. All is well, no animals in the barn but we put the tractor lawn mower, the kids riding jeep, small bike for the grandkids, my husband had a stash of beautiful wood too. We had our new stove in there too ( need to do some work in kitchen first, before we put it in).
On the brighter side I just made this card to send to a friend that just had heart surgery. The flowers are from "Heartfelt Creations"and I put glitter on the flowers and leaves. The paper is from my stash, the material butterfly I got from a rummage sale but it is from "Jar Jewelry" and the butterflies on the edge are from "Crafters Companion".
Have a GREAT day

CARDS FOR A CAUSE
Hi, I'm trying my hardest to get back to my blog!!! And I have a very good cause for making cards! Please join my very good friend in her card drive. They (the cards) go to the staff at NATIONWIDE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL. The staff distribute the cards to children with congenital heart disease. The cards help lift their spirits while hospitalized. Here are the cards I have made and sent. Please make sure to check out the rules and where to send them.( http://www.christinahordesigns.com/ ) Like one rule is do not put Merry Christmas on the cards. There are different religions and such in the hospital. Warm Wishes is a good one. Please help Christina make 364 cards for this winter!!! PLEASE!!

Working Bubble Gum Machine!
I hope the weather is nice for everyone out there!! It's not snowing here but still cold, to me at least.
I have made this card for the first time for my nephew, I can't wait to hear from him because I know he is going to absolutely love it!! This machine really works!!
This card is a little thick but I am going to keep looking for smaller things to put in it. I have small jelly beans in this one.

Sail Away With Me
I feel good coming back to my blog. I haven't been able to make very many cards as life has kept me so busy. Today I'd like to share with you a card I made for my husbands birthday. The sailboat stamp, all of the paper, brads, embossing folder and ink all come from Stampin Up. I used a punch for the circle and pop dot the sails.
Enjoy your day!

Baby, It's Cold Outside
I finished Christmas shopping, but I am still waiting for one thing to come in. Feels so good to be done. No worries here.
Today at THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES, in Monday Greetings, The East Wind is our sponsor and our theme is: Happy Holidays. I chose the image "Baby it's Cold Outside".
This card was easy peasy to make. I used some purple as my square (5x5) base. Then I just cut out some blue patterned paper with snowflakes on it from my stash. I colored her and then cut her our using the stitched circle from Gina Marie.

Sparkle and Shine
Yay!! The snow missed us!! Freezing but no snow! Hope everyone out there is keeping warm!!
Good morning, today it's Monday Greetings over at The Outlawz Challenges Our theme for this week is "Sparkle and Shine". Our sponsors are Lacy Sunshine Stamps and Bloobel Stamps.
My base for this card is white. I used the large scalloped die from Stampin Up Squares in a striped pattern paper from my stash then a solid paper in Turquoise from Stampin Up . I turned my patterned paper the opposite direction in the same squares from SU. I used Gina Marie Stitched circles in the Turquoise. My image from Lacy Sunshine called "Snow Bunny", was colored with Copics and I put sparkle from my stash on the icicles hanging down from the top, the icicles on her wings, the snowflakes, and her nylons. The round tag came from Avery and the stamp is from SU.
On this card called "Take Your Medicine", from Bloobel Stamps, my base is Red. I used patterned paper with cherries on it because I remember medicine tasting like that when I was a child. The red is also from my stash and goes with the patterned paper. I used Gina Marie Stitched rectangles in red and also die cut her out in the stitched rectangle. I used Get Well Soon from old retired stamp set from SU and die cut them out with Karen Burnistons, Lot of Pops die set and just used the flag die, and the tag is from Avery. I cut out some cherries to put inside. My sparkle and shine are: her dress is outlined in sparkle, the spoon, hat and shoes also. The cherries in the tag are sparkled.
Thank You for Stopping by and have a great week!!

Flash Back
The last of the green trees are finishing up with a blast of color. Even my old old birch tree has an orange/yellow color. It has always been just yellow for years so I am VERY happy about that.
Today I'd like to go back and show some of the cards I have made, some long time ago. This card was all hand cut. It was made for baby shower, or Congrat's to a new born, and birthday. I made the flower.
This one was made from an SVG cut file. I added a couple things like the baseball bat and ball on the right and on the left, the label says: Our First Grandchild and the train on the bottom. I made it for someone that asked me to make a boy one.
Hope you all have a wonderful week!!
Hugs~

More Than Two Layers
Good Morning, It is raining cats and dogs today. We've had a pretty wet fall so far although it has been warmer because a lot of trees are still green. Today I'd like to share with you a card made for Monday's Greetings Challenge from The Monday's Greetings Outlawz Challenges . Our theme is "More Than Two Layers". Our wonderful sponsor for this week is Angie's Cards and Digi's. I chose "Little Lylia"
White is what I have for the base of the card. I matted it with patterned paper of Christmas bulbs and candy canes which I pop dotted off the white. Then from "Stampin Up" I used the "Squares Collection" the largest one is scalloped and I chose some sparkly green paper I have. I colored Lylia with Copics and put her under the pop dotted patterned paper. Then from Spellbinders Circles I die cut a green sparkly circle. Last, I made a red bow and attached that.
Have a wonderful week!!
