NO BULLYING

Hello and Welcome to my Blog-----

Today I'd like to remind us all of the "Bullying" that goes on around us. It goes on all over the world and it breaks my heart that a lot of the times you don't even know it. It happens to kids for their lunch money, it goes on in locker rooms, in bathrooms, and right in front of you !! Children don't tell the parents because they fear it will only get worse for them and sadly sometimes it does. Please find more information to read more about this. Google it!

Today on the THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES  It is SUMMER RECREATION

Our fabulous sponsor is LACY SUNSHINE STAMPS  and I have chosen KYLE KIDS STREET

My base color is a dark brown and I matted with a lighter brown in the stitched rectangles from Gina Marie Designs and a darker brown the same color of the base. I colored my image with Copics and pop dots are on the boy, basketball and the little pin of No Bullying that I made.

Thank you all for stopping by and please remember to read about the signs of bullying. Google It!

Music

I'm sure we all are some what behind from the holiday! Catching up can be quite over whelming too!
So late as I am it's "Monday's Greetings" at THE OUTLAWZ --I started off using Bloobel Stamps--"Truly Flootieful" as our theme for the week is music, something with music. :)

I thought I would try the technique white on white except use a color and then the same color again.
I'm not sure I like this. Maybe I just used the wrong die for this type of project. The die is: Spellbinders "Timeless Rectangle". The color is Mint Green.

Then I made a card using Decosse's Dynamite Doodles---Wonderful Summer Sentiment. I had some paper with music on it and used one of the die's from the Timeless Rectangle to cut out the sentiment. I added some corner tabs from Sizzix.

and last but not least  Bloobel's--" Birdy in a Tree".

First I made some clouds on the base of the card. I used a die from Impression Obsession. and then colored her. Pop dots are on the back of her and the tree branch. The bird is a stamp from Stampin Up that I got long time ago.  Have a great week and thank you for stopping by.

Try a New Technique

H E L L O !
We finally have summer!!! They kids will be swimming today! They are so excited!
Not so good for my car.....it lost the power steering as I pulled onto our road and then my driveway. :(

But on a  bright side it is OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES Day!!! I'm in the MONDAYS GREETINGS . For today we had to "Try a new Technique". I used sewing on the card because I don't remember ever doing that. Ok, so I'll never do that again! I am NOT good at sewing on a card!!!  I wish I would have long time ago.......maybe I'd be good at it by now!! Our wonderful sponsor this week is Digi Stamps 4 Joy   The corner die cut is from   La-La Land Crafts  And on that note here is my card.

Thank You Very Much for stopping by and have a great week!

Annabel Goes Country

Good Morning! I hope it is a bright sunny day for you today!

Welcome to Monday's Greetings on THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES . This Monday was to Emboss your project, wet or dry. Our wonderful sponser is SHEEP SKI DESIGNS. I chose Annabel. She reminded me of the era that I wore bell bottoms!

I used Kittie Kits- Cause a Scene-" Country"- by Kittie Caracciolo. The frame is made with Impression Obsession-"Wood Grain". I put brads on each corner for nails. The wood frame is wet embossed with clear embossing powder. It looks like a wood frame that has been varnished.

Thank you all for stopping by. Have a wonderful week!

Cute Card Day

"Monday Greetings" from The Outlawz Challenges is on!! Take a look around, you will be pleasantly inspired!! Join a challenge and have a great time. Everyone there is so friendly and you'll probably end up with at least a few Best Friends!!

Hello my good friends, we ended up having a beautiful day yesterday (Memorial Day) and so far today looks just as beautiful......So Far.

For my first card I chose "Cute Worm" from Cre8tive-Hands. The reason I chose this image is because I'm collecting characters that look like the ones that are in "Fox and the Hound". And thus, cute worm is "Squeak". I make them into magnets for the refrigerator for my little grandaughter. She likes playing with them.

To make this card I used Spellbinders Cascading Grace die in pink. I used it again for the solid piece behind the pink. Then I cut it out again only using white. First I placed the grass die from Poppy Stamps called Grassland Border. I colored the worm ( I prefer Caterpillar) from Cre8tive Hands, put pop dots on the back and placed it on top of the grass, then I added more grass but made it shorter than the back grass. I die cut the leaves that come from Stampin Up, put them on the sides and bottom, put silk flowers down on top of them. Then I punched out a butterfly from the punch from Martha Steward and the Dragonfly from Elizabeth Craft Designs called Small Dragonfly. Hope you like, it was fun to make.  The sentiment is from my computer.

Next I chose Rose and Roxy from Crafty Sentiments

I started off with an embossing folder from Cuttlebug of "Paisley". Then I added the corners from Sizzix called "Photo Corners" in white. I made two different colored "ovals" from Spellbinders and cut the cloud die from Sweet and Sassy called "Clouds & Raindrops". I colored her and put her on top of the die from Impression Obsession which is the fence. "DIE-004-J". Last I die cut the Bow from Die-namics called "Dainty Bows".
