The Holidays

Hello dear friends~ Christmas has become pretty busy for me so I will have to take some time off. I will be back January 2. Have a Beautiful Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Baby, It's Cold Outside

We've got a few inches of snow now so at least it won't be a brown Christmas here.
I finished Christmas shopping, but I am still waiting for one thing to come in. Feels so good to be done. No worries here.

Today at THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES, in Monday Greetings, The East Wind is our sponsor and our theme is: Happy Holidays. I chose the image "Baby it's Cold Outside".

This card was easy peasy to make. I used some purple as my square (5x5) base. Then I just cut out some blue patterned paper with snowflakes on it from my stash. I colored her and then cut her our using the stitched circle from Gina Marie.

I really like this shoe image. I got brave and didn't do the traditional red and green every where. I really like how it turned out but it is so dark to me. I had the flash on even! Time for a new camera I guess.  I got the cute snowflakes from a lovely friend of mine.

Spring and Christmas??

Good Morning, I can't believe we still don't have any snow. It's not even freezing the water!!  :)
Today I'd like to show you a couple of cards I made with the group at The Outlawz Challenge
First I have the Spring Bird ( see, I'm thinking warm even though we don't have snow!) This little cutie came from "Robyn's Fetish" and is called "A Little Birdie Told Me"

and from MelonHeadz I chose a bundle "The North Pole"

Sparkle and Shine

Yay!! The snow missed us!! Freezing but no snow! Hope everyone out there is keeping warm!!

Good morning, today it's Monday Greetings over at  The Outlawz Challenges Our theme for this week is "Sparkle and Shine". Our sponsors are Lacy Sunshine Stamps and Bloobel Stamps.

My base for this card is white. I used the large scalloped die from Stampin Up Squares in a striped pattern paper from my stash then a solid paper in Turquoise from Stampin Up . I turned my patterned paper the opposite direction in the same squares from SU. I used Gina Marie Stitched circles in the Turquoise. My image from Lacy Sunshine called "Snow Bunny", was colored with Copics and I put sparkle from my stash on the icicles hanging down from the top, the icicles on her wings, the snowflakes, and her nylons. The round tag came from Avery and the stamp is from SU.

On this card called "Take Your Medicine", from Bloobel Stamps, my base is Red. I used patterned paper with cherries on it because I remember medicine tasting like that when I was a child. The red is also from my stash and goes with the patterned paper. I used Gina Marie Stitched rectangles in red and also die cut her out in the stitched rectangle. I used Get Well Soon from old retired stamp set from SU and die cut them out with Karen Burnistons, Lot of Pops die set and just used the flag die, and the tag is from Avery. I cut out some cherries to put inside. My sparkle and shine are: her dress is outlined in sparkle, the spoon,  hat and shoes also. The cherries in the tag are sparkled.

Christmas Sentiment

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween and welcome to my blog.

Today at the THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES , our THEME is to have a Christmas sentiment.

                             For Eureka stamps I chose "Guardian Angel"
                   I used Spellbinders Nestibilities "Timeless Rectangles"

I used Stampin Up "large paper doily" in the white, Memory Box" Frostville" wreath in the aqua and on the corners I used Impression Obsession "Die023-X" which is a wreath but I only used the pine, the holly leaves with the red berries.

Flash Back

The last of the green trees are finishing up with a blast of color. Even my old old birch tree has an orange/yellow color. It has always been just yellow for years so I am VERY happy about that.

Today I'd like to go back and show some of the cards I have made, some long time ago. This card was all hand cut. It was made for baby shower, or Congrat's to a new born, and birthday. I made the flower.

This one was made from an SVG cut file. I added a couple things like the baseball bat and ball on the right and on the left, the label says: Our First Grandchild and the train on the bottom. I made it for someone that asked me to make a boy one.

More Than Two Layers

Good Morning, It is raining cats and dogs today. We've had a pretty wet fall so far although it has been warmer because a lot of trees are still green. Today I'd like to share with you a card made for Monday's Greetings Challenge from The Monday's Greetings Outlawz Challenges . Our theme is "More Than Two Layers". Our wonderful sponsor for this week is Angie's Cards and Digi's. I chose "Little Lylia"

 

White is what I have for the base of the card. I matted it with patterned paper of Christmas bulbs and candy canes which I pop dotted off the white. Then from "Stampin Up" I used the "Squares Collection" the largest one is scalloped and I chose some sparkly green paper I have. I colored Lylia with Copics and put her under the pop dotted patterned paper. Then from Spellbinders Circles I die cut a green sparkly circle. Last, I made a red bow and attached that.

RSD Anything Christmas

The Three Little Pigs

Good Day to everyone out there! Today I would like to show you a BOOK that I made with the Bundle Package from Melonheadz  called Three Little Pigs  I had such fun with this book. I do not have any words except when the Wolf says: I will Huff and Puff and Blow your house down. I left it blank so the grownups can tell it the way they want to. Otherwise make it a SHORT one!! Lol.
So, join in on the fun over at The Outlawz Challenges Our Theme for this week is use Orange or Black or Both. I made this book for my little Ms. Lilly. She will be three this Thursday and is obsessed with this story. So...... for Halloween, Lilly will be the BIG BAD WOLF and her little brother and mommy and daddy will be the Three Little Pigs.

Ride em Cowboy

Today is "Anything Goes" at The Outlawz Challenges .  Our sponser for this week is QKR Stampede and I have chosen "Ride em Cowboy" for my image.
I colored my image with Copics and added glitter pen to the frogs back (green) and the top of the snails back in purple. I chose a blue for the base of my card. I added the fence from Kitty Krafts Country Stamp set then used the pointillism Technique for the grass and the road. Then I accidentally sprayed BLACK!! onto my finished image as I was squeezing the last of my black ink from a little sqeeze bottle onto my pad of black, Yikes!!

I would like to tell a young artist that I know that I also splattered on my image and went with it. See Catherine, it happens to all of us!

Bella and Barney

Welcome, I'm hoping everyone is have a great week so far. Not me, I had a root canal appointment but tooth got worse before I could get in and now I might have to wait until dentist gives me an antibotic! Ugh! We shall see as my appointment is in an hour. So that's what my state of mind has been since Monday. So this is a little late.

Today I'd like to welcome you to The Outlawz Challenges    I'm a design team member in the Monday's Greetings. We must have a greeting on the front of the card. Liw is our host this week and she chose a challenge for us which is use a rectangle, square and a star on the front also. Our sponser for this week is Digi Stamps 4 Joy and I chose the cute puppies Bella and Barney.

I had this colorful paper in my stash that I have gathered here, there and everywhere so I made that the base of my card. I made a circle in a pink and a scalloped circle in white. Then on another piece of pink, I stamped some paw prints. I colored the puppies with copic and stamped I ( heart) Dogs, and last I made a little square in the pink and put a punched out yellow star and glued it on the square.

So, my card is the square, the pawprints are my rectangle and the I have the star on another square.

Coloring Medium

I just joined a challenge over at Memories Crafter today. Come on everyone!! Join the Challenge!! Our challenge is to do a coloring medium that we haven't done before. I chose to use Acrylic paint. I had a hard time making this one. I'm use to pretty. LOL. I have  dry embossed brick in the back ground and I threw some white paint on it, I wrote the words out with a paint brush. They are words that a skateboarder would use. I also painted the little boy in acrylic too, with a small brush. I cut him out and pop dot him to the brick. I wanted this card to look like it came from the poor side of town and someone spray painted the words. Sorry, I'm not too good at that!! Anyway here is my card.

Brighten Someone's Day

Today on The Outlawz Challenges our sponser is Sheepski Designs and I have chosen the Freesia Vase. Our Theme for this week is Brighten Someone's Day. My base is white and I die cut the rectangle and the oval (from Spellbinders), then added some light green pearls.

Rainy Days

I hope you all had a real nice Labor Day weekend!! All the kids have started school today here where I live. Of course it pouring rain like cats and dogs out there! My old old birch trees have started dropping a yellow leaf here and there so Autumn is coming close. It's usually cool here by now but it is quite warm for us. Today I like to show you a couple cards. This one is from Di's Digi Stamps and I have Scruffy Kitty.

I used Stampin Up squares with this one. It came with the scalloped one too and I used a flower patterned paper with it. . I put a pattern paper in the green and behind the kitty is the flowered patterned paper too. I colored the kitty with my copics and put a nice pink ribbon under a few of the squared paper. 

Then I chose to Stella Belly Button from Bug a Boo

I did her rectangle layers in different blues on the white base of the card. I colored her with Copics then put her on pop dots for the 3D effect. Hope you all like and have a Beautiful Day, even if it is raining so hard out there!!

Purple and Green

Today for our  THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES, I chose Harriet the Witch from our awesome sponser CRAFTY SENTIMENTS DESIGNS.  Our theme for this challenge is: Use Purple and Green. Happy Monday to you all, I've been so very busy this summer with family things! Really, it's been great. Not for my husband I'm afraid. Two operations for the disc's in his back and neck. He sure has suffered a lot. Now he has to see another specialist as he is having trouble with his throat.

Today I have 2 cards to show you that I made for THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES. This one is from SLS Lines . The image I chose is: Fairy with Butterfly Wings.  Our Theme is: Friends

The base of my card is in white. After I colored her with Copics, I die cut her out using the Floral Ovals from Spellbinders. I cut another one out in the mint green with the Decorative Labels Eight. I added some pearls to both. I made the roses from Sizzix ( I use this one a lot!) BIGZ die and then added the branches from I.O.

My next image is from: The East Wind. I chose Aurora Vine.

Base card is white, after coloring her with Copics I die cut her out using the old "Labels" we all got a while ago. In pink I used the next size down Decorative Labels Eight rectangle and then again the large of the Decorative Labels Eight. I added the pearls to both layers and made the flowers again with the Sizzix. The branches are also the I.O.--DIE055-N.

NO BULLYING

Hello and Welcome to my Blog-----

Today I'd like to remind us all of the "Bullying" that goes on around us. It goes on all over the world and it breaks my heart that a lot of the times you don't even know it. It happens to kids for their lunch money, it goes on in locker rooms, in bathrooms, and right in front of you !! Children don't tell the parents because they fear it will only get worse for them and sadly sometimes it does. Please find more information to read more about this. Google it!

My base color is a dark brown and I matted with a lighter brown in the stitched rectangles from Gina Marie Designs and a darker brown the same color of the base. I colored my image with Copics and pop dots are on the boy, basketball and the little pin of No Bullying that I made.
