Cute Card Day

"Monday Greetings" from The Outlawz Challenges is on!! Take a look around, you will be pleasantly inspired!! Join a challenge and have a great time. Everyone there is so friendly and you'll probably end up with at least a few Best Friends!!

Hello my good friends, we ended up having a beautiful day yesterday (Memorial Day) and so far today looks just as beautiful......So Far.

For my first card I chose "Cute Worm" from Cre8tive-Hands. The reason I chose this image is because I'm collecting characters that look like the ones that are in "Fox and the Hound". And thus, cute worm is "Squeak". I make them into magnets for the refrigerator for my little grandaughter. She likes playing with them.

To make this card I used Spellbinders Cascading Grace die in pink. I used it again for the solid piece behind the pink. Then I cut it out again only using white. First I placed the grass die from Poppy Stamps called Grassland Border. I colored the worm ( I prefer Caterpillar) from Cre8tive Hands, put pop dots on the back and placed it on top of the grass, then I added more grass but made it shorter than the back grass. I die cut the leaves that come from Stampin Up, put them on the sides and bottom, put silk flowers down on top of them. Then I punched out a butterfly from the punch from Martha Steward and the Dragonfly from Elizabeth Craft Designs called Small Dragonfly. Hope you like, it was fun to make.  The sentiment is from my computer.

Next I chose Rose and Roxy from Crafty Sentiments

I started off with an embossing folder from Cuttlebug of "Paisley". Then I added the corners from Sizzix called "Photo Corners" in white. I made two different colored "ovals" from Spellbinders and cut the cloud die from Sweet and Sassy called "Clouds & Raindrops". I colored her and put her on top of the die from Impression Obsession which is the fence. "DIE-004-J". Last I die cut the Bow from Die-namics called "Dainty Bows".

Good Morning

So sorry my friends, I had to take hubby to an appointment out of town. He is doing great and back to work but now it seems one of the vertebrae's in his neck collapsed and is causing pain right below his shoulder blade. He can't even sleep because when he rolls over in his sleep, it causes it to be extremely painful!! He will be getting an MRI.

So I missed being able to post on my Monday Greetings at The Outlawz Challenges. So I will do it now.
Welcome all to Monday's Challenge my friends.  Take time to stop by The Outlawz Challenges, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the challenges there are and the artwork. On top of being able to enter challenges and WIN PRIZES!, you will meet many friends that you just might keep for life!

The Sponsor for this Challenge is: Alicia Bell  and I chose--Coffee and Good Morning.  (Make sure to check her out and her wonderful digi's.)
The Theme for this Challenge is : Circles

Since the theme is Circles, I thought I would make the whole card a circle. So I used the Framelits-Circles Collection from Stampin Up for the base of the card. First I colored her with copics and then I chose the biggest one which is a scalloped circle and covered it with a pattern paper with flowers on it from one of the (tons) Scrapbook Stacker 12x12 pads that we ALL have. Next I used Gina Marie Designs Stitched Circles for the green, patterned and white circle. I stamped Friends on the white. I fussy cut her out (which I seem to like to do), put pop dots on the back of her, then attached her to the card. Last I made a pink bow using Die-namics Dainty Bows.

Say it with Flowers

Welcome back to my little blog. Today is another Monday at The Outlawz Challenges and I have two cards to show you. The sponsors for today are .Decosses Dynamite doodles and Di's Digis Stamps.

The sentiment  is from Decosses and it is called "Sharing Pleasures" it says: In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing pleasures. I should have taken the picture head on as you can see the sentiment much better. The flowers are handmade by me. I got the instructions and the idea from Kittie Kraft. I used a Martha Steward punch around for the top piece, Spellbinders squares to die cut the larger opening and a smaller one in white. The last piece of white, I printed out the sentiment and then embossed it with Cross Stitch from Stampin Up. The wider leaves are also from Stampin Up. The fern like leaves are from Martha Steward and the white swirly is a Whimsical Flourish from Memory Box.

This image is from Di's Digi's. After I colored it with Copics I just die cut it out on the die by Spellbinders called Floral Ovals. In yellow I embossed a print called Textile from Cuttlebug. Then punched out the corners with a corner punch from Martha Steward. I matted that in a green and added some skittles. The bow is from Die-namics

Thank You for stopping by.

Living on the Edge

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!!

Today on  The Outlawz Challenges- Monday Greetings I made this little cutie. My base card was white. I laid down a pink, then I used the "Karen Burniston- Agatha Edges", right through the two layers of paper. In a darker pink I die cut Spellbinders Label eight rectangle. I colored the Magnolia, He loves me, he loves me not, and cut her out using Spellbinders Decorative Elements Floral Ovals. I then added in white, another piece that came with the "Agatha Edges". I have some flower punches laying around so used a few to make the flower and stamped the sentiment from some odds and ends stamps that I have.

Thank You for stopping by. Any encouragement is greatly appreciated.  :)

Well I'm back from a trip with my son and his family. We went to Wisconsin Dells!! I had so much fun and who would have thought that I'd get up early, eat breakfast and back into the water!!! Great place to go, Google it!

Today I will share with you the card I made for the "Monday Greetings Challenge" on THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES.  Monday Greetings was "Spring has Sprung" and I chose "Rory's Daisy Love from out wonderful sponser LACYSUNSHINE STAMPS

I chose a pink as my square base, then white, then in the pink again using the die cut from Stampin Up Squares I just the scalloped one. I made another square in white then placed (in pink) the die cut from Spellbinders nestabilities "Captivating Squares". After I colored her ( Copics) I cut a square that would fit nicely on the Captivating Square.
