Well we finally got some snow! Just over 3" I'd say. We are use to so much more but I hope this is all. The sky still looks rather dark.

About every two weeks I go to a class and an instructor shows us different techniques. The last time I went she showed us a background. It is on glossy paper. Then with a cotton ball we put alcohol on it and then put on an ink. We sponged the glossy paper with the mixture. It was wet and as we made circles, back and forth, and such it started to take on a cool look. We did a few different colors on it. Then very last we sponged metallic gold on it. When all was said and done she said "now make a card with this and bring it back next time to show me what you have done with it. I used Stampin Up brown for the gears and very vanilla for the clock and both are files that I got free on the internet and my machine cut them out.
